National Museum of Natural History

National Museum of Natural History

10th Street and Constitution Ave, Washington, 20560, DC

As of 2014, this museum is home to a life-size T-Rex replica. And in 2019, the structure will become the centerpiece of a new Dinosaur Hall, following a $48-million renovation to Fossil Hall. Until then, other museum features include a Butterfly Pavilion, Insect Zoo, Naturalist Center, and — our favorite — a Forensic Lab, where visitors get to use real human bones to identify people. Admission to the museum is free.

The National Museum of Natural History is one of the Smithsonian museums — which area all free. It is also located near the National Mall, which is home to many memorials, monuments and museums.

An amazing museum that will keep you and the kids entertained for hours. It is fun to see what topics actually interested my children.

We love this museum but right now they are working on it and a lot of things are closed normally I would rate them. Five and will again when they are done
