The Ober Gatlinburg Aerial Tramway at Ober Gatlinburg Ski Area has two cars, each of which can carry up to 120 passengers. Rides depart every 20 minutes and travel 2.1 miles, affording beautiful views of the Smoky Mountains. It may be difficult to take good pictures through the windows, however.

The Aerial Tramway operates 9:30 a.m. to 9:20 p.m. daily. Tickets are $12 per adult and $9.50 per child ages 5 to 11 (ages 4 and under are free). Ticket rebates are available during ski season.
