Ordway Center for the Performing Arts

345 Washington Street, Saint Paul, MN

Broadway tunes, ballet and classical orchestration flow through the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts in the heart of downtown St. Paul by Rice Park. It’s home to the Minnesota Opera and Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, and hosts traveling Broadway shows and other big-ticket productions such as “Stomp” with seating for 1,100 in its Concert Hall that opened in 2015 and its 1,900-seat Music Theater.

In early June, it also hosts the popular Flint Hills International Children’s Festival, one of the largest children’s festivals in the country. The weekend of events blends multicultural music and concerts, puppetry, performances, crafts and other hands-on activities.
