Osceola County Historical Society Pioneer Village

2491 Babb Road, Kissimmee, 34746, FL

Dive in to a true sense of Central Florida and Osceola County with a visit to this historical site. Kids will receive an entirely different experience, far removed from the theme parks, when they visit the Pioneer Village, a collection of authentic structures that once stood in the area. The site’s entrance is through the Caretaker’s House of the Partin Family, who introduced cattle to the area in the late 1800s. See a “Cracker House,” which was a form of architecture in the homestead of the 1800s. The Cadman Complex of buildings showcases the life and style of a family who arrived in Florida by way of New York as investors. A Seminole Village provides a glimpse at the area’s native indians and how they once lived. A 7.8-acre nature preserve and blacksmith house are also on the site.
