Paddy Campbell’s Belfast Famous Black Cab Tours

Belfast

Note: The guided, cab tours offered via Paddy Campbell’s are best suited for teens and not recommended for young children.

This Belfast cab tour provides history and a look behind the curtain of Northern Island’s troubled past through its political murals and Peace Wall. But it’s the “Game of Thrones” tour teens and adults will love most! The HBO series has filmed in Northern Ireland since 2009. The all-day tour starts in Belfast with its history and turmoil, then heads north to the Giant’s Causeway and Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, along with several locations from the show — including the Dark Hedges. Fans will love to see the spots and hear the stories associated with Northern Island and GOT.

Hours

Tours are offered 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Call or email to schedule a tour.

Age Restrictions

This tour is best for families with teens.

Things to Know/Bring

The people of Belfast and Northern Ireland were definitely in turmoil in the 1970s and 80s and these tours do show the violence and destruction that took place. Expect to see bombing memorials, murals dedicated to assassins and photos of death and violence from Northern Ireland’s political “Troubles” time period.
