If you want some thrills and an excellent view high atop Palo Duro Canyon, take your family ziplining by the canyon. Situated just outside the entrance to the state park is the Zipline Adventure Park, where families can zip alongside the canyon.

The zipline doesn’t actually go across the canyon itself but there is no shortage of canyon views. Choose the one or two zipline courses that have families climbing to the tall tower and zipping 880 feet across. Kids can fly tandem or solo depending on weight, and all ages and experience levels are welcome.

Hours

10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily in the summer months

Age or Weight Restrictions

Solo riders must be a minimum of 65 pounds and maximum of 300 pounds. Riders under 65 pounds can ride tandem. All ages are welcome.

Things to Know/Bring

This is a quick ziplining course that only takes between 30 to 45 minutes to complete. Camping is also permitted onsite.
