The largest park within Prague city limits is so big that you and your family can enjoy a section without interruption from others. Climb the steep hill or ride the funicular to get to the top of the hill, where standing high above the city is Petrin Tower, which closely resembles the Eiffel Tower. Although the tower is only a miniature version, it stands at the exact height of the Eiffel Tower due to its location atop Petrin Hill. Go to the top to get the best views of Prague. The park is a spot for romance, and on May 1, the “Day of Love” in the Czech Republic, people meet at the statue of Czech’s romantic poet, Karel Hynek Macha, who stands along the path to Petrin Tower. Also near the tower is the Mirror Maze, which kids will love exploring. During the summer months, pony and horseback rides are available. A rose garden can also be enjoyed during the summer months.
