This 2.4-mile, round-trip loop takes a couple of hours and guides visitors on a walk through the past. The prehistoric Indian civilization that lived on the mesa from 600 to 1300 A.D. left behind petroglyphs telling the story about their lives. The trail also points out plant life and geology, and what the Indians would have been seeing in the same spot all those years ago.
