Attraction

Phoenix Police Museum

Historic City Hall (first floor), 200 West Jefferson, Phoenix, AZ

Future police officer in the family? They’ll be thrilled by a visit to this small museum, where kids can wear uniform shirts during their tour, see a police car, helicopter, and motorcycle up close (they’ll turn the blue-and-reds on, too!), and get a “mug shot” taken in the photo booth. The museum is run by retired police officers, so they know their stuff and are happy to answer questions and tell a few stories. Budget no more than an hour to see everything. Admission is free, but donations are accepted, so consider leaving a couple dollars or buying a souvenir.
