Originally part of Frontier Adventures, the Plaza del Carnaval section of the park has taken on a life of its own. The Spanish influences here are evident, with bright, festive colors and stucco buildings with tile roofs. Rides in this area include the wooden coaster El Toro, looping coaster El Diablo, and the rocking, spinning Tango ride. When you get hungry, head to Totally Kickin’ Chicken or Macho Nacho, then cool down with some Dippin’ Dots.
