The wood planks of the wide Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk stretch along the beach, with views of the Atlantic Ocean for about 1 mile. Along the boardwalk, families will find hotels, numerous restaurants and boardwalk eateries, shops, amusement rides at Funland and games. Whether you’re seeking an evening stroll or a morning bike ride, children of all ages will love to visit the boardwalk. Bikes are permitted the boardwalk from 5 to 10 a.m. There are public restrooms along the boardwalk and near Rehoboth Avenue, but visitors are asked not to use them as changing rooms.
Several sit-down restaurants in casual atmospheres line the boardwalk and Rehoboth Avenue, which dead ends into the boardwalk. Typical boardwalk fare like popcorn, salt water taffy, ice cream, fries, pizza or smoothie specialty eateries are also located along the boardwalk.
Street parking is available around the boardwalk. The meters are in effect from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
