Families that love visiting different zoos on their travels should plan a stop to Tucson’s Reid Park Zoo. The zoo is small, making it a great stop for a morning visit. Kids will love the giraffe encounter, a camel ride, zoo train, and the wildlife carousel (each attraction does require a separate ticket). On warm days, kids will have fun playing in the Kenya Get Wet water play area! The hours of operation vary season, but the zoo is open daily year round (except for Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day). Children under 2 are free.
