Gather your young kids in the summer as the Reading & Rhythm program brings local celebs and musicians to read and play music for school-age children on Thursday and Friday mornings in July and August. The events are first come, first serve and each child will receive a free book and get to ride on a carousel.

Additionally, in June, Riverfront Park plays host to the River Days festival with well-known bands, tall ships, zip-lines, live theater, riverboat tours, kids’ activities, sand sculptures and more. Tickets are $3 or $5 depending on the time of day.
