One of Bradenton’s newest recreational areas, Robinson Preserve encompasses 487 acres and about 6 miles of trail, 2.5 miles of which is paved for biking. A 40-foot observation tower lies along one of the paths for great picture-taking and looking for the preserve’s bald eagles and wood storks.

The kayak launch provides access to 2.5 miles of blueways trail through mangrove tunnels and marshes. Visitor center exhibits live in the historic Valentine House that was relocated to the park from Palmetto.
