Take an air-conditioned coach and be greeted with a welcome ceremony (powhiri). Feel the strong presence of ancient warriors as you watch a haka (maori war dance) performed by their descendants, and when it’s time for food, have your pallets stimulated by a hangi (Traditional maori meal cooked underground).
