A little further afield of the historic heart of Edinburgh awaits the Queen’s former yacht, the Britannia. Queen Elizabeth II and her Royal Family used this yacht on more than 900 trips around the world and families are invited to tour the ship to see its five decks of State Apartments, bedrooms, crew’s quarters, dining rooms and more. A real treat is the family photos of the Royal Family aboard the ship, including Princess Diana and her young boys William and Harry.
