Salem Museum


Located in Old Town Hall, the Salem Museum gives newcomers to Salem a look at its entire history, from its founding to its role as an India trading town to its witch trials to the birthplace of esteemed writer Nathaniel Hawthorne. Old Town Howl, built in 1816, is the earliest surviving municipal structure in Salem.

The museum is open from noon to 5 p.m., June 1st through October 31.
