These peaks, the extinct remnants of ancient volcanoes, stretch 12,000 feet into the sky, with the surrounding areas making a great location for hiking, skiing, and photography. You can either admire them from afar as you drive on the way to the Grand Canyon, or take the ski lift to the top to get a bird’s-eye view of the countryside below.
