Building sandcastles is part of any day at the beach, but what if you could build the ultimate sandcastle? The Port Aransas Sandcastle Guy, Mark Landrum, has been teaching families how to build sandcastles for more than 10 years, and has been sand sculpting himself for almost 20 years.

Families can book anywhere from a 30- to 90-minute lesson and Mark will meet you at your preferred beach spot. He will start with the basics of how to build the base of any sturdy sandcastle and end with the finer sculpting details of using “highly technical sand tools” (also known as plastic spoons and knives). Kids will be enthralled and Mark will hold their complete attention as they build their sandcastle with a pro.

Children 7 years old and up will enjoy these lessons most, but 30-minute sessions are available for children under 7 years old.
