Home to the historic Roosevelt Baths, the gilded Gideon Putnam Hotel, museums dedicated to dance, automobiles and a myriad of mineral springs, this expansive state park is a great daytrip destination. Summer brings the opportunity to cool off in the Victoria Pool or the Peerless Pool complex, play golf for a reasonable fee or explore trails by foot or bicycle. In the winter, take the kids for a spin around one of two ice skating rinks, go sledding or try your foot at snowshoeing or cross-country skiing. Snowshoe rentals and a warming hut are onsite.
