Close to and owned by The Broadmoor (the largest resort in Colorado Springs), Seven Falls is a stunning waterfall with seven levels, hence the name. Take the fairly short hike to the top (224 steps), where there’s an observation deck with photo ops galore. Guests of The Broadmoor also have the option to take a shuttle to the top.
Hours vary depending on season; in the summer, they’re typically 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday to Thursday and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
There’s a per-person fee to visit the waterfall, and that also varies by season. In the summer, it’s typically $14 per adult and $8 per child 3 to 12; children under 2 are free.
You can also experience the waterfall via The Broadmoor Soaring Adventure, a zip-line and ropes course that debuted in 2015. Yes, the course goes right over the waterfall for a true adrenaline rush!
