Sheridan Opera House

110 N. Oak St., Telluride, CO

The Sheridan Opera House, connected to the New Sheridan Hotel and otherwise known as “The Crown Jewel of Telluride,” was built in 1913. It began its legacy as a vaudeville theater and cultural center, and attracted a wide variety of shows, orchestras, and touring theater companies to its grounds.

Fast forward to today, this 240-seat, cozy theater houses the Sheridan Arts Foundation and has transformed into a non-profit venue, benefitting charitable organizations such as the Boys and Girls Club of America.

Families also flock to this theater for big-name concerts in a small and intimate setting. Kids ages 2 to 18 can also perform in shows here.
