Siesta Key’s main commercial area covers about a dozen blocks down and around Ocean Boulevard, a few blocks east of the beach. Ice cream is a hot commodity in the village. Many of the shops carry inexpensive beach supplies and gifts, but a few, such as Gidget’s Coastal Provisions for fun beachy gifts and CaliFlorida Surf and Skate Shop, carry nicer wares.

Restaurants and daiquiri bars draw the hungry and thirsty for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can find everything from mini-donuts and tacos to crepes and oysters.
