The Southern Museum of Flight is one of the largest aviation museums in the Southeast, and a great place to take the kids for an afternoon in Birmingham. You’ll find interactive exhibits, including a real aviation hangar in which kids can climb. There are also flight simulators, a kids’ playroom and outside, picnic tables.

Admission

Admission is $7 for adults, $6 for seniors and students, and free for children under age 3.

Hours
Hours are 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday. The museum is closed on Sundays and Mondays.
