The next section is Storytown, the original park that opened in 1954. This is where you’ll find the classic carousel and train ride, which takes you in a loop, along the Swan Boat pond and behind the Timbertown Trail. The boats, as well as the Pink Whale and Cinderella’s Castle, are clearly showing their age, but there is a retro charm to it all.

There is one thrill ride in this section; the Sasquatch tower that launches you 192 feet up before a fast drop. High dive stunt shows are performed at the Splash Theater, with the top dive platform reaching 80 feet high.
