For families who don’t have or aren’t renting a boat, the Sunset Charter & Tour Company does a great, informative three-hour tour. Best for older kids, the tour will take you around the lake and show off rock formations, amazing sunsets, and history. You may even be able to hear some wildlife as the sun goes down.

This is a great way to see a large part of the lake and area from the water, and you can bring your own snacks and drinks on board.
