Telluride Ski Resort

Attraction

Telluride Ski Resort welcomes skiers and snowboarders of all skill levels, and is open annually from after Thanksgiving to the first week of April. Close to 60 percent of its 147 trails accommodate beginner and intermediate skiers, so parents need not worry about getting even their littlest ones on the mountain. There are 18 lifts in total, and the longest run is a whopping 4.6 miles.

Hike-to terrain is available, as well, to Bald Mountain, Black Iron Bowl, Gold Hill Chutes (an impressive 10 of them), and Palmyra Peak, for those more advanced skiers.

Lift ticket prices are hefty, but worth it in our opinion. After all, how many people can say they skied Telluride? Prices are as follows:

Ages 13 to 64
½ Day (valid at noon): $101
Full Day: $122

Ages 6 to 12
½ Day (valid at noon): $60
Full Day: $72

Ages 65+
½ Day (valid at noon): $89
Full Day: $107

Children ages 5 and under ski for free.

The more days you ski, the more you save with online discounts, and you don’t have to ski however many days of lift tickets you purchase consecutively.
