Trevi Fountain

Piazza di Trevi, Rome, 00187

A visit to Rome would not be complete without a visit to its famed Trevi Fountain. Surprisingly tucked away into a small piazza off the main roads, crowds gather to sit around the massive fountain, constructed into the side of a building, to witness its splendor. Built in the early 1700’s, the fountain represents the sea-god Neptune and his sea horses. Be sure your children do not try to splash in the fountain; the Romans highly frown upon this.
