Located on the University of Michigan campus within the Biological Sciences Building, this free museum recently relocated and continues to expand in its new space. Families can check out the giant dinosaur exhibits, along with exhibits on evolution, geology, fossils and prehistoric species. At the Planetarium Dome & Theater, kids can experience the night sky like never before. The museum has also been integrated with actual laboratories and research areas of University of Michigan students and faculty so kids can witness real life research happening onsite.

Hours
9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily and until 8 p.m. on Thursday.

Things to Know/Bring
Admission to the museum is free. But $8 tickets are required for the Planetarium and Dome Theater shows.

Dining
There is a small café with light fare, snacks and coffee located onsite.

Parking
The area is surrounded by paid street parking and paid parking structures.
