The Vancouver Central Public Library has a unique structure in the shape of Rome’s Colosseum, with a plaza surrounding it, inviting families and visitors to enjoy its architecture, books and programs. The nine-story building takes up an entire city block in Vancouver — you can’t miss it. Visit for daily story times, tea parties, workshops and more kid-friendly programs.

The Central Public Library is open Monday through Thursday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is always free.
