Verde Canyon Railroad Wilderness Train

300 North Broadway, Clarkdale, 86324, AZ

Head outside of the Phoenix-Scottsdale area for a railroad ride through the Verde Canyon. The four-hour train ride takes guests through the old mining town of Clarkdale to the Perkinsville ghost ranch and back, passing through a 68-foot tunnel, over fortified trestles and along the Verde River. Music and narration have made this the longest-running nature show in the state. Trains feature climate-controlled cars and restrooms, and provide caboose, first-class or coach riding options. The caboose is designed for private parties of six or less with a personal valet serving appetizers throughout the journey. First-class riders receive living room-style seating with panoramic windows and free appetizers. Coach passengers ride on Pullman-style seats and have snack bars available at their convenience. All riders can access open-air cars for 360-degree views. Rates start from $55 per adult and $35 per child ages 2 to 12 years old.
