Located in the heart of downtown Victoria, this zoo is crawling with critters! More than 50 bug species, all alive and in tanks, can be found at this small, indoor zoo. Kids will love watching the praying mantis, glow-in-the-dark scorpions, hairy tarantulas and huge, hardworking ant colonies. The passionate expert tour guides are ready to explain everything there is to know about a bug’s life. If you’re feeling extra brave, visitors are welcome to hold or touch some of the bugs as well. But feel free to just let the kids handle the critters, if bugs make you squeamish. Families could spend a couple hours here.

Hours: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday
