A must-stop for every visitor at Dollywood is a ride on the Dollywood Express, a WWII-era steam locomotive that makes a 2.5-mile loop through the park and through stunning Smoky Mountain scenery. This is the oldest attraction in the park and leaves on the hour, every hour. Arrive to the train station at least 15 minutes before scheduled departure. Once you arrive back to the station, stop to catch a magic show at Costner & Sons Magic Shop or to ride the Village Carousel.
