Whale Watch Cabo

IGY Marina Dock LMN, Colonio Centro,, Cabo San Lucas, Los Cabos, 23450

From mid-December to mid-April, Pacific gray whales can be seen spouting off of Cabo San Lucas’ coast. The 40-foot-long behemoths travel 6,000 miles from Alaska to give birth in the warmer waters of Baja, California. The majority of whales head for the shallow waters of Magdalena Bay on the Baja’s Pacific Coast.

Whale Watch Cabo offers wonderful excursions for families, and is the area’s first and only dedicated whale watching company. Whale Watch Cabo also focuses on conservation, with efforts including trash collection on every tour. Sightings are guaranteed Dec. 15 to April 15; if you don’t see whales, the company encourages guests to come back for a tour at no charge.

Things to Know/Bring

Both open- and covered-boat tour options are available; all tours last 2.5 hours. Kids ages 6 and under are free to ride on the Cabo Group Tour. Bring hats, sunglasses and sunscreen (regardless of tour option).
