Occupying 31 acres of land, this center, located at Tupper Lake, brings families up close and personal with wildlife through indoor and outdoor exhibits. Planet Adirondack features an interactive Earth and provides a guided experience to highlight how it works. In the summer, two festivals bring more families: the BuzzFest near Independence Day and FlavorFest in August, featuring local cuisine. Flight of the Butterflies, also in the summer, highlights the migration of Monarch butterflies.
