For cool summer fun, this seasonal amusement park offers South Dakota’s only wave pool and its largest outdoor waterpark. Older, independent kids can head for the looping slides or the new Tornado Alley that swirls and drops riders into a pool below it. Parents can lounge in the adults-only pool with a swim-up bar or go head-to-head with kids and challenge them to batting practice, paintball, bumper boats with water cannons, go-karts, mini-golf or sand volleyball.
