Yerba Buena Gardens offers families access to public art displays, memorials, gardens, waterfalls, lawns, picnic areas, and more. It’s an outdoor wonderland for families that is also free. Children will enjoy exploring the Yerba Buena Children’s Learning Garden, which allows little ones to plant seeds and water them in the various gardens. Special events and programs take place at the Children’s Learning Garden, all of which teach kids about nature, insects and garden ecology. There are also play areas, a bowling alley, and a carousel in the area for all ages to enjoy. Additionally, the Yerba Buena Gardens are home to farmers markets, festivals and other outdoor events. During the winter, there is an ice skating rink for guests to enjoy, too.
Yerba Buena Gardens are open Monday through Sunday, 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
