Sail aboard a tall ship and relive the York River’s history, where Captain John Smith explored these waters at the start of American colonies. Passengers will sail on a 105-foot, three-masted schooner, Alliance, or the 65-foot gaff topsail schooner, Serenity, along the river’s shores, past Yorktown Battlefield, Victory Monument and historic 18th century homes. Day, sunset and pirate cruises are provided. Cruises sail daily from Riverwalk Landing Pier, April to November, and are two hours in length. Admission is $35 per person.
