Celebrating Delaware’s Swanendael, the first European colony that was established in 1631, this museum exhibits the area’s maritime, military and social history. The museum is modeled after a town in the Netherlands. Tours take place throughout the day and families will find displays of model warships and artifacts from the time.
Hours
April 1 to Oct. 31 hours are 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Sunday. From Nov. 1 to March 31 the hours are 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.

Admission to the museum is free, but donations are appreciated.
