Want to be in the hub of the Mission beach area? And not see the inside of a car for days? The Bahia Resort Hotel is your answer. When you stay at the Bahia (pronounced: Ba-Hee-A) you can actually see SeaWorld and can walk to most anything your family desires. How about family-friendly Mission Beach or the Belmont Park, home to the famous Big Dipper roller coaster? Or you can stroll to a variety of shops, nice restaurants and pizza-by-the-slice-type places. You’ll also find gourmet coffee shops, spots to pick up a cone and plenty of fast food. Or, when the kids are napping, lounge on your room’s deck and take in the gorgeous bay view with something cold.

The Bahia sits on an amazing stretch of sand, tucked into its own cove on the bay. Grounds keepers pay close attention to detail--raking the sand daily, tending the tropical flowers and foliage, cleaning the pond...All of the hotel staff members go out of their way to look for ways to add charm to your stay. The food is amazing, too! You don't have to wait for a Sunday to have a full-spread Sunday buffet! Thank you, Ricardo, for creating your food with such pride, and Jessica, our server, for your attention to detail and friendly conversation. We had a stress-free getaway in our own city, and felt like we were on a fantastic vacation somewhere new!
Spent four days here in October 2019. Great suite, great view beautiful site. Will come back! Only problem we had was off site. Went to a place called Pieology, a pizza restaurant down the road. Would not sell me a pizza because I did not use an app or order on line. Can't walk in and get a pizza to go. No exceptions!!!!! Outrageous or what. Doubt they will still be in business when we return to Bahia Resort!!
