Welcoming place close to Algonquin Park

We stayed for a night after paddling in nearby Algonquin Park and found it the perfect place to relax aching muscles. The room was spacious, the bed soft and the bathroom what you dream about after camping. All facilities like fridge and WiFi were in best shape. The next morning, the compulsory breakfeast we not only enjoyed tea and tasty muffins, but a long and pleasant chat with the landlady. If we ever come in that part of Canada again, we will definitely book the place again

We were on a motorcycle trip through the Kawarthas, and had a lovely stay at the Balmoral. Conveniently located close to a restaurant across the street, and gas station around the corner, we had a couple of pints at the bar in the evening, and unexpected complimentary coffee and muffins in the morning. The rooms were comfortable, and the owner was friendly and welcoming, with helpful tips for our ride. It was an awesome starting point to explore the roads! We will definitely stay again if we are back in the area!
