My wife and i stayed here for a week. We have traveled quite extensively over the past decade. This resort was by far one of the nicest places we've ever stayed.
The food was fantastic. Their restaurant rivaled the best food we had on the island. Breakfast was included and was so good, we didnt even want to eat breakfast outside the resort. Very impressive and high quality ingredients.
We spent 4 nights in the Colonial room which was beautiful. Nice high ceilings and just an all around relaxing atmosphere.
The remainder of the trip we stayed in their Superior Beachfront Pool Suite. Wow. It was exactly what we needed. A huge room with awesome views. Outdoor shower and tub, private pool and beach with ocean access. Honestly had we'd stayed elsewhere our overall feel of Curacao would be very different.
Lastly the staff, and i mean everyone from the top down was fantastic. They are all friendly and welcoming. If we make it back to Curacao, i refuse to stay anywhere else. This place raised and owns the bar on the island.

Our visit to this beautiful resort came on the heels of a week of busy week of scuba diving in Bonaire. We were ready to kick back, relax and recharge before we headed home. This resort made that possible in every way and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, private and luxurious getaway!
Our suite was one of only a couple with a private pool and jaccuzzi. It was beautifully appointed with reclaimed antique doors and wall panels, amazing light fixtures, beautiful artwork and well-coordinated, high-end furnishings. The bed frame itself is a work of art with an integrated chandelier of hanging shells, mirrors and netted curtains. The indoor T.V. is hidden in the foot board of the bed and rises and lowers at the push of a button.
The vanity is made of a beautiful granite counter top with two solid pedestal free-form sinks. There was plenty of counter space, cabinets and drawers in which to store all of your beauty products and toiletries. Electric outlets on one side are set up for European outlets and the other for standard American outlets. This set up was mirrored bedside and in the dressing room/closet.
The TV is set up with Netflix/Hulu/Prime so once you loggin with your credentials, you are able to watch your favorite shows if you need a movie night and the resort has a New York feed so you get U.S. news and shows as well as local ones.
Speaking of the closet - - it was more like a dressing room with a vanity with drawers for storing sunglasses and other items, a full-size pull-out drawer for storing makeup, a ceiling to vanity wall to wall mirror and decorated with a chandelier that coordinates with the one in the bedroom above the bed. There is ample room for hanging clothes as well as drawers, pull-out shelves and a hidden safe.
The toilet is in a separate room with a single sink and mood lighting. Both the closet and the toilet have large glass doors (very heavy) that are darkly tinted to give a bit of privacy.
The outdoor shower and tub are very nice. The tub is a massive solid piece of stone with a waterfall and the only downfall was that we were only able to get lukewarm water from the tub faucet however, my husband used the hand wand from the shower to fill it and we enjoyed a bubble bath under the stars several nights.
The outdoor area is where the coffee maker (Nespresso) and supplies, fridge, bar ware and dishes/silverware were kept. There is an outdoor T.V., and a high top table with ample and comfortable seating. Music is piped throughout the suite controlled by an IPAD. There are also lounge chairs by the small, shallow plunge pool. The Jacuzzi is really more of a "bubbler" since there is no heat source but it was refreshing and we were able to sit in it and view the ocean.
The restaurant and bar areas were nice. We had breakfast each day and what a spread! Fruits and juices of all kinds, freshly baked croissants, and delicious entrees. I loved that they also provided an abbreviated copy of the New York Times to help keep us in touch with what was happening back home.
The beach area, while not large, accommodated a dozen or so covered and uncovered lounge areas set up with pairs of lounge chairs. Need a drink? Just raise the flag and your waiter will gladly take care of you. The water comes in from the ocean inlet and there were kayaks and snorkels and masks available for use.
There are several other pools on the property and they are beautiful! The grounds are immaculate with palm trees and dense tropical foliage.
At the nightly turn-down service, the candles in the lanterns scattered around our room, bathroom and outdoor siting area were lit as well as the most aromatic incense Returning from dinner each night was so romantic!
The resort is a 20 minute drive from the airport and 10 minute drive from Willemstad. We dined out at several restaurants (see my other reviews) and found parking easily in town and parked on the street in front of the resort. There is 24 hour visible security (at the entrance).
This is a beautiful property and look forward to staying here again!
