Excellent stay

We have visited Costa Adeje on numerous occasions however this was our first visit to the Baobab Suites.
The hotel is set on a hilltop overlooking Adeje and affords excellent views over the area.
On arrival reception staff were really friendly and helpful to the point of off offering to show us to our suite.
There was no concierge however lifts are near to the reception and rooms easily accessed with our luggage.
We booked a boutique suite and were lucky to get an upper level location.
The suite was first class, massive balcony with dinning table 3 sun beds and sitting area. Each balcony also has electric canopies that you can adjust to suit. The suite has a kitchen area and utility cupboard that houses a washing machine. The bathroom and bedroom were well equipped, plenty of storage space, decent hairdryer etc.
The hotel offers a number of suite options garden rooms, hot tubs and private pools. The garden rooms are on the lower levels and if you are booking be aware they are near to a main road and you might be effected by traffic noise particularly during the day.
There are three restaurants the main one is located in the basement, that caters for B&B of half board. Whilst the food options are reasonable the lack of windows did not make for the most pleasant dinning experience.
The fitness suites are housed in a stand alone building directly across the road from main hotel. We went to a couple of the spin classes and found the staff and facilities to be excellent.
One area worth highlighting is the hotels location is on a very steep hill and whilst my wife and I were happy to walk up during the day after going out for the evening we would take a taxi home. The hotels location might be an issue for folks with young families or who have mobility issues. Similarly there was no evening entertainment programme as such and worth factoring in when deciding if you want to book this hotel.
All things considered we loved it and have already booked a return visit in April 2020.
