Reviews

LOVED it but needs a new elevator and more luggage carts!

by JenniferB273

Checked in for one night for a quick visit to Gatlinburg. Check in was super fast and easy. Read previous reviews about nasty attitudes from staff but the gentleman I dealt with at check in and out was super friendly. Our room was on the 3rd floor and the elevator was tiny and slow. We ended up just using the ramp by our door. Room was beautiful and clean. Only complaint about the room is the housekeeper left the bug bombs sitting in the middle of the bedroom and bathroom floor. Eww. View from the balcony was breathtaking! Balcony is literally out over the river! Quick walk to the downtown strip-less than 10 min. Traffic is busy on this road but didn’t really notice traffic noise while in my room. There’s a 4.5 ft indoor pool that sits off a balcony with a gas lit fireplace. I was disappointed that the fireplace didn’t work when we tried it. I think the gas had run out because we saw someone using it earlier that night. Wanted to come back in December but it’s already booked for that weekend. I LOVED this place and will definitely be back!

Worst customer service experience ever!

by Hotpinkzoo

Absolutely horrible unprofessional customer service. I was charged for not showing up to a reservation I made a year ago which I completely understand. I made the reservation and completely forgot about it. I didn’t receive any email confirmations or reminders about the trip. I’m 9 months pregnant so forgive me if I forgot given that I have a lot going on right now. Rather than even attempting to be understanding the manager, Jev, laughed and gave me a horrible attitude about it. He refused to let me to speak to anyone above him as he says the owners don’t speak to customers and he already knows they’re going to say. It’s incredible that this guy is the one making decisions on behalf of the owners because they can’t be bothered to speak to customers themselves. He refused to even provide me with an email address. I’m so glad I didn’t end up staying here the staff is so rude. The girl I spoke to at the front desk didn’t even know what time zone she was in when I asked if they’re eastern or central she said I don’t know and just told me what time it was currently. Not to mention that I had to spell my very common last name to the a manager 5 times. I’ve never not shown up for a hotel reservation and always organize and book my trips in advance it’s what I do for a living! I would’ve completely understood them not being able to refund me but the attitude was totally unacceptable. Amazing they can’t make an exception when someone is 9 months pregnant! Hope the $130 was worth losing future business.
