Editor’s Review of Bear Creek Mountain Resort

Bear Creek Mountain Resort is a full-season mountain resort just over an hour from Philadelphia and two hours from New York City. The small mountain and inn provide families with mountain biking, hiking, skiing and snowboarding, with ski-in and ski-out accommodations. Four lifts lead snow lovers to 21 green, blue, black diamond and terrain park trails, with learning areas for little ones across 83 acres. In the summer months, live music under the stars takes place every Thursday night, and the resort is home to numerous festivals. Stay in one of 116 rooms, including two-story loft suites, featuring heated indoor and outdoor pools, onsite dining, a full-service spa and free Wi-Fi.
