Franklyn D. Resort & Spa
Upon request, nannies are able to assist in all needs, from changing diapers (a nice break for parents) to watching little ones when time alone is needed. Families stay in spacious suites, all of which include free Wi-Fi and some of which feature ocean views. Did we mention the resort sits right on the beach?
Round Hill Hotel and Villas Resort
Activities include glass bottom boat tours, sport fishing, catamaran and speedboat trips, plus snorkeling, kayaking, windsurfing, tubing and more. If you have a teen in tow, they"ll enjoy the 7-Up Club, which includes access to a game room and a reading and TV room. Families stay in oceanfront rooms, many of which feature connecting capabilities, or spacious villas that feature private pools.
IBEROSTAR Rose Hall Beach Hotel
Enjoy family dinners (and maybe even a date) at four different restaurants (three are a la carte and one is buffet-style) before retreating back to your room or suite, which likely includes a view of the ocean. Bonus: IBEROSTAR Rose Hall is located just an hour from Dunn"s River Falls.
Jewel Runaway Bay Resort
While the hotel bustles with excitement, it also remains intimate, with just 266 guestrooms on offer -- 62 of which have connecting capabilities for large groups. Free Wi-Fi, five onsite restaurants and airport transfers to Sangster International Airport round out the appeal for families.
Together, the whole family can enjoy Pirates Island Waterpark, or try kayaking, windsurfing, paddle boarding or scuba diving. The resort offers nine restaurants with nine different specialties -- have Italian food one night and French food the next -- and designated family rooms and suites, which sleep seven to nine guests.
Beaches Ocho Rios
There are several pools (including one for youngsters) and a spa, as well as seven restaurants, each featuring a specialty cuisine. Aside from traditional sports like scuba diving and snorkeling, Beaches also offers hydro bikes and Hobie Cats. Families can stay in a traditional guestroom or suite, or try a specially designed Family Sized Room or Family Sized Suite.
Royal Decameron Club Caribbean
There are two pools, including one that"s designated for families, as well as a giant sundeck (teens love it). The resort offers three restaurants, with afternoon and evening snacks served daily.
Royalton White Sands Resort
Other activities include cooking classes, dance classes and organized games -- and that doesn"t even include the kids" club and teen programming and lounge. Families have the option to dine at six different restaurants and sleep in spacious rooms with views of the ocean or gardens. Free Wi-Fi and mini-bars (restocked daily) are also provided.
Hilton Rose Hall Resort & Spa
There"s also a Kidz Klub, Teen Zone and golf course. Complimentary shuttles allow guests to explore nearby attractions in Rose Hall, and kids ages 12 and under stay free in accommodations, which include mini-fridges and, in many cases, ocean views.
