The BEST WESTERN Jaco Beach Resort is an all-inclusive resort in Costa Rica with 125 guestrooms and suites with free Wi-Fi, TVs, air conditioning and daily housekeeping. Complimentary cribs and rollaway beds are available upon request.

The resort is steps from the beach, with water sports on offer and more than enough room for building sandcastles. There are also multiple pools, with one just for children, as well as tennis courts, volleyball courts, a playground, scheduled activities and more. The resort can also help set up offsite excursions to local national parks and towns.

There are three onsite restaurants and bars for families to enjoy. El Muelle Bar sits near the beach with snacks and light fare on offer. El Puerto Restaurant is a buffet-style restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Lobby Bar has a variety of drinks — including non-alcoholic for kids and teens — plus smoothies, sodas and shaved ice treats.

Additional amenities include laundry service, free parking and a gift shop for souvenirs.

My wife and I went with Gate ! tours. We are used to all inclusive hotels being large expanses with lots of amenities. This one as small and quaint with one pool and two places to eat. The food was good and for a small outfit, had a good and fresh selections.
My wife had to get used to looking at Iguanas while we ate on the terrace. The beach was rough but people were in it. It was close to a small town and we walked there to shop a few times. There were day trips to the Juan Manuel park and zip lining around the corner.
Make sure you have good GPS ( not google) as the towns do not have road signs. Good trip.

It was an amazing experience! We'll be back!!!!

We stayed 5 days in the middle of october. It was great, very laid back. Coming from florida we're used to the beach but not the mountains or the jungle. Lots to do within an hour drive, and Jaco downtown is great for cocktails and people watching. Maneul antoine national park is amazing and driving there is part of the fun. Make sure you park at the gate, people dressed as park employees will try to trick you into paying to park in their field well before you get to the park.
