Husband and I checked in for our Anniversary when we Checked in went to room smelled like smoke and urine had stains all on the chairs and lamp shade was full of holes I sprayed it with my perfume and then we went out to eat came back 45 minutes later and it smelled so bad it made me nauseous we had to check out and go home the lady said we can get a refund from hotels.com and when hotels. Com called the hotel they refused to refund the money I should have checked the reviews this place is a dump and should shut down waste of money and spoiled my Anniversary
We stayed here in January as a "quick rest" spot for our travels from FL to CT. I use the word "rest" loosely as we didn't get any.
Upon arrival i noticed that the hotel was off the main road and set back in a dimly lit area. The entrance way & front parking lot were uninviting and EMPTY! (Should have been a sign) Aside from the other 2 cars in the back lot, we were the only ones staying there, (another sign) now i know why.
After opening the door to the room my feeling of the sleezy "one nighter" hotel that i got from pulling up to the place initially was confirmed.
I don't need to go on and on and trash the place i believe they did the job well enough as themselves you can see from the photos. Honestly, they should be shut down by the board of health.
They got 1 star basically because you can't not give it any less then 1 star and also because i don't know how but i managed to go home with no bugs (of any kind), which i find truly amazing given the shape of the room.
The only reason we stayed after seeing it was because we had been on the road for 13 hrs, we were all sick and were traveling with 2 dogs and didn't have the energy to go any further. Unfortunately the room had been booked ahead of time as our friends had stayed there in the past and apparently at one point in time they were a descent hotel. Also after seeing the rooms we inquired and there were no other hotels in the immediate area that would take dogs and had availability. Thankfully it was only one night or should i say about 6 hours. Six hours too long in my opinion.
Do yourself a favor and don't bother staying here.
