Overview

Completely remodeled in 2011, this hotel feels more upscale than most Best Western locations, with plenty of leather furniture, pools and play features (fountains, buckets and a small slide) that make it popular for families. The pool uses a saltwater system rather than chlorine. The 211 guestrooms all come with a microwave and mini-fridge, and a complimentary hot breakfast buffet offers eggs, meat and waffles. The onsite restaurant, RedRossa Italian Grille, serves wood-fire Neapolitan pizza, pastas, seafood, steaks and kids’ meals.

Great for families

by WashRobin

We were traveling with a 9, 5, and 3 year old and the pool area accommodated them all. Plus the whirlpool was very spacious for the adults. This hotel is about a minute from the Mall of America and 15 minutes from the Minnesota Zoo.

Great if traveling with young children

Everything was great. Being able to find a room without a reservation on a Saturday night was great. The gentleman at checking did what he could to find us a room. The next morning, when I decided to extend my stay, the staff took care of us. Even allowing us to stay in the same room. During breakfast the staff was very attentive, friendly and eager to attend to our needs. The indoor pool made it a great hit with the kids. We extended our stay just because the kids could not get enough of the Iy. It is very close to the Mall of America. The complementary Shuttle service was also a great hit. The price is a bit high $185.52 first night, $133.92 the second one. Nevertheless, I would stay there again.
