Lovely location... enjoyed out stay!

by tresor70

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The location was ideal with the lovely marina nearby and many choices of restaurants. The hotel staff we friendly and the rooms were very clean, but a bit small. I had reserved our two rooms through Hotels.com and I do feel we were not given the best rooms due to that. I know many hotels give their smaller or less preferred rooms to online booking services, although I sure wish they wouldn't. Overall I would recommend this property because I really loved the location and the clean rooms. I also appreciated the tea and coffee in the rooms. We didn't eat at the hotel, but they do offer dining options.

SUPERB POSITION

by LesleyEd

Superbly positioned hotel, we had a double room overlooking the harbour. Gorgeous to wake up to. Lovely at night with the moon and twinkling lights from the boats.
Comfortable hotel, very helpful front desk staff.
Although we did not use the pool area as it was out of season, it looked very nice and inviting.
The main lobby had comfortable seating for a drink and get together. The rooms were of an adequate size and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was a little cramped but adequate.
We did not like the restaurant unless the weather was warm and you could sit outside overlooking the marina. The restaurant was dated in design, being a little sole less. The food was average and fairly expensive. Breakfast was plentiful, but at £17 a head, very expensive. There are lots of local restaurants within easy walking distance.
